AI Gift Pro

Gift-giving is a search problem dressed up as an emotional one. People know roughly who they're shopping for but drown in options and end up buying a gift card. AI Gift Pro takes the few things you do know, who they are, the occasion, the budget, and turns it into a tight list of actual products you can go buy right now.

You answer a couple of quick questions, it thinks for a second, and you get 12-15 ideas, each matched to the person and linked to where to buy. No account, no sign-up wall. The whole experience is meant to feel like asking a thoughtful friend who happens to know every product on the internet.

It's marked Building because it is, and it's earning nothing yet. The recommender works. What's left is the part that actually makes money: the affiliate links and the ad layout, done in a way that doesn't ruin the experience.

The core is a recommender that turns a short questionnaire into a structured prompt, gets back a list of real gift types, and matches those to actual purchasable products with buy links. The trick is keeping the suggestions specific and real rather than generic "a nice candle" filler.

Monetization is the build I'm focused on now. It's Amazon affiliate on the product links plus AdSense on the page, which is a well-worn model for this kind of high-intent, seasonal traffic. The risk is obvious, lean too hard on ads and affiliate tags and you wreck the thing that made it useful. So I'm building the money layer carefully, after the recommendations are good, not before.

Same stack as the rest. Static front end, AI doing the matching, cheap hosting. Before I'd call it launched: tighten the recommendations, wire the affiliate and ad layer cleanly, and see whether gift-shopping search traffic actually shows up.

Nothing to show yet. The recommender runs but the affiliate and ad layer isn't fully wired, so there's no revenue to be honest about. Once the money layer is in and traffic starts arriving, the real affiliate and ad numbers go right here.
